My family has made our way to our new home in Peoria, Illinois! We spent the last four years in Oklahoma while my husband worked on his PhD in accounting. He graduated in May, and will now be a professor at Bradley University. We are so excited to get settled here in central Illinois!
I've taken the last couple months to get my studio up and running, and I'm loving it! My studio is in my home, which provides a nice, comfy space for your photo session. I'm located on the west side of Peoria, near the Shoppes at Grand Prairie and Sommer Park North.
There is plenty of space in my studio for all kinds of sessions- newborn sessions, maternity sessions, milestone (baby and child) sessions, family sessions, and even high school senior sessions! In fact, just last week I took my own family pictures in this very spot. Here's a sneak peek of one of my favorite images from that session.
Fully-Stocked Studio
Adding a baby to your family is such an exciting time! But there are also a lot of things to worry about. Your newborn photoshoot does not need to be something to add to your stress. My studio is fully stocked with everything you need. I've got a large selection of outfits, headbands, bonnets, wraps, and props to use during your session.
I have a growing maternity client closet (not pictured) with lots of gorgeous gowns, bodysuits, and fabrics to make your maternity photoshoot extra special. I even have some outfits for older babies and young children.
Full-Service Photographer
It takes a lot of planning to create the kind of images that are worthy to hang on your walls. I am here to guide you through every step of your photo session. At our pre-session consultation, we will discuss wardrobe options, backdrops, color schemes, and everything else necessary to plan your session. We will go through my client closet to see if you want to use any of the available items. It is best to book your session a few weeks or months before the scheduled date so we have plenty of time to prepare.
Another important part of planning your session is deciding how you want to display your images. Your artwork is meant to be seen, not lost on a USB in your desk drawer. I will guide you in making decisions about which images you want displayed on your walls, and which ones you'd like in an album or folio box. There are so many beautiful ways to display your images.
I am so excited to get to serve the people of central Illinois! I can't wait to begin creating beautiful images and artwork in this studio space that will be treasured by families for generations!
